火山のような形のヴィンテージフラワーベース。
上部は厚いリングで構成され、厚くラメ感のある釉薬で覆われています。

植物を生けなくとも独特な存在感があり、そのままお部屋に飾るだけで日常の風景に一味変わった雰囲気をプラスしてくれます。

＜Fat Lavaとは＞
ミッドセンチュリー時代(1940～60年代)～約1980年代頃までを中心に、ドイツで制作された陶器作品「Fat Lava」。

「Fat Lava」とは直訳すると「Fat＝肥えた」、「Lava＝溶岩」という意味。
岩のような粗さを感じさせるごつごつとしたフォルム・いまにも溶岩のように流れてきそうなテクスチャーが最大の特徴です。

流れるような粗い釉薬の感じは窯の中で変化することによってできた自然なもの。
計算されたものではないためひとつとして同じ形はなく、希少性が高いため今なお多くのコレクターを中心に人気のあるアイテムです。

1950〜70年代に窯業の黄金期に達したドイツ陶器業界の中でもメジャーなレーベルのひとつ。
現存する数少ないメーカーで現代にも多くのヴィンテージが残っています。
特に円筒形をもとにしたシンプルな形状で、型押し模様のある花瓶が代表的。色彩については当時主流だった赤やオレンジから、クリーム、ベージュ、茶色などが多くを占めます。
